Backend & Package Development Principal/Staff Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

* To develop new technology(inclusive of new material/process/equipment) and robust backend process for new product. Capable of leadframe and tooling design.
* Envision and lead new backend process, equipment and material platform development to create competitive edge.
* Perform molding proof of principles and characterization study for robust process.
* Timely develop and introduce new product with competitive cost/differentiation.
* Continuously perform benchmarking and intelligence and keep track of industrial trend to develop winning packages that meet BU needs.
* Interact with product groups and customers to identify and develop assembly backend technology roadmap and keep track on industry movements
* Maintain specifications and upkeep documentation for molding/backend technology
* Coach, inspire and motivate new engineers.
* Tooling and leadframe design.

Job Requirements:

* Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Engineering field.
* At least 5 year(s) of working experience in mold process, tooling and leadframe/substrate design.
* Possess good leadership : analytical, independent and communication skills
* Possess Six Sigma green belt and familiar with Design of experiment and DFMEA.
